REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, or similar field
- 10 years of sales experience with a proven track record of selling to international customers
- Experience leading teams
- Established sales methodology with knowledge of the international intralogistics market and key players
- Knowledge of market changes and outside influences
- Strong understanding of corporate finances and performance measures
- Strategic problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software
- Willingness to travel more than 50%
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities
- Organizational skills, positive outlook, and a "can-do" attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with matrix organizations
- Experience using SAP or proALPHA
- Ability to speak German and Spanish, but don't worry if you don't! While German skills would be a bonus, they're not a dealbreaker.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Site Manager, you oversee operational procedures, manage staff, and contribute to sales revenue. You're an attentive leader who strategically executes new strategies to support our business plan. You help shape our company's direction by performing market research and optimizing our daily processes, advising the board on increasing profitability while positioning us as a valued partner for North American prospects. The goal is to build a profitable and independent subsidiary to market the MIAS portfolio.
You take full responsibility for the subsidiary's profits and losses, implementing new projects to support its success. Attentively, you negotiate contracts and develop processes to increase efficiency and meet goals. You ensure company policies are followed, monitor performance, and work closely with management and administration teams.
You guide and instruct employees, creating an innovative and performance-driven environment where staff feel empowered to complete their best work. Diligently, you speak with employees about their goals, conduct individual development discussions, and coordinate training opportunities. You also hire new employees and help them adjust to their roles.
