The MIAX Exchange Group (“MIAX”) of Miami International Holdings, Inc. (“MIH”) is currently seeking a Junior Business Analyst with a background involving a combination of statistics, mathematics, economics, and the structure of listed securities markets to join our Business Strategy team.
The Junior Business Analyst will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Strategic Planning & Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Interact with Senior Management and Business Systems Development teams to design and produce internal reports monitoring the company’s competitive position within the market.
- Support the Business Strategy team in the external Business Reports development lifecycle, including drafting, QA, and implementation.
- Support the Business Strategy and Sales teams with ad hoc data requests, analytics, and internal presentations to Senior Management.
- Assist in the review of new exchange traded products and functionality.
- Responsible for generating customer-facing materials for the company’s website.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skills.
- Previous experience with SAP or similar database management tools a plus.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a high attention to detail.
- Basic programing and scripting skills a plus.
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks in a timely fashion.
- Knowledge of Financial Markets a plus.
- Hybrid work environment with the potential for travel.
Education and Experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business/Finance, Economics, or related discipline
The anticipated annualized base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000. Actual initial base salary will be determined based on factors that may include qualifications, experience, and/or geography.
