Responsibilities
We are seeking a results-driven Production manager to oversee and optimize manufacturing operations at our production facility. The ideal candidate will lead the production team to achieve efficiency, quality, and safety goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators to meet production targets.
Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including materials, labor, and equipment, to maximize output and minimize waste.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality teams to maintain high standards and resolve production issues promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and drive initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize processes.
Safety Compliance: Promote a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and enforcing safety protocols.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to align production goals with company objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
Proven experience in production management, preferably in the automotive or advanced manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Shop Floor Management, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
