**This is a HYBRID role in the Jacksonville, FL area.**
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with the SQL Development team to design schemas, tables, views, indexed views, and develop stored procedures.
- Create complex queries, SSIS jobs, and SSRS/Power BI reports.
- Stay current with the latest T-SQL language features and work with large volumes of data.
Qualifications:
- Expert programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong performance tuning and dynamic SQL skills.
- Ability to jump into anyone’s code to solve problems.
- Proficiency in reverse engineering and modifying code for better efficiency and performance.
- Experience with Oracle versions 10g, 11g, and 12c.
- Strong experience with Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages, and performance tuning.
- Ensure database programs comply with V3 standards.
- Performance tune SQL queries, application programs, and instances.
- Experience with application programming in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC 5, JavaScript, JSON, and JQuery.
- Knowledge of XML and web services.
- Familiarity with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocols, and change management procedures.
- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle.
- Proficiency in multiple object-oriented programming languages.
- Skilled in using desktop applications like MS Suite and flow-charting tools such as Visio.
- Proficiency with debugging tools.
- Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and propose solutions aligned with business objectives and strategy.
- Experience mentoring or leading other development staff.
- Proven leadership skills, including knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness, and assertiveness.
- 24x7 production support experience in large-scale environments.
- Experience with complex indexing strategies, including column-store indexing.
Required Work Experience:
- 5 years of related work experience in IT development.
- Advanced/Complex SQL for ELT development in RDBMS.
- Strong Unix/Linux Shell scripting experience.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts/features and large-scale batch data processing.
- Experience building stored procedures using complex SQL and PL/SQL.
- Netezza SQL experience is highly preferred.
Required Education:
- A related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
