Qualifications
The Night Auditor is responsible for Check front office accounting records for accuracy and, on a daily basis, summarizes and complies information for the hotel's financial records. The Night Auditor prepares a summary of cash, check and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel financial performance for the day.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use balance. Additionally, the team member will frequently be asked to use hands and arms carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member may experience temperature fluctuations and moderate to high levels of noise. This is a smoking environment.

Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 2 years' experience in customer service or hospitality.
- Excellent communication and math skills.
- Ability to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills.
- Exceptional customer service.
- English required, bilingual preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in English
- Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke
- Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned
- Must be able to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives
- Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner
- Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness
- Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.

- Adhere to the Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team compliance
- Maintain a professional appearance and always be punctual, courteous, friendly, and helpful and articulate to our internal and external guest.
- Print downtime reports and all other Front Desk reports necessary to plan the day.
- Charge no-shows as necessary
- Post and process room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
- Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift.
- Transfer charges and deposits to the master accounts.
- Check to see that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments.
- To verify that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by the documentary evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated in to the PMS system.
- Verifies all account posting and balances, that room rates are the correct posts those rates to the guest account.
- Monitors the current status of coupon, discount, and other promotional programs.
- Is able to function as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures.
- Track room revenues, occupancy percentage, and other front office statistics.
- Prepare a summary of cash, check and credit card activity.
- Summarizes results of operation management.
- Check figures, postings, and documents for the accuracy. Record, store, access and/or analyze computerized financial information.
- Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Balance of the day's charges, making corrections as necessary.
- Run end of day process in the property management software (PMS).
- Prepare MTL report and send to the Compliance Department and Internal Audit Director.
- Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
- Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed.
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
