Qualifications
- High school diploma and 3 years of beverage supervision or management, or equivalent combination of both.
- Certification as a mixologist from a reputable bartending school is a plus
- Proficient in the English language, bilingual is a plus
- Effective communication required.
- Intermediate math skills required.
- Be courteous and show genuine care for all co-workers and guest(s)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Excellent guest service skills, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the F&B Supervisor is overseeing the day-to-day operations of the beverage operations. The Beverage Manager will be expected to provide effective strategic direction to ensure operational efficiency, highest standards of service and maximize profitability pertaining to the service of all beverages within all Food & Beverage venues within the operation.
- Lead and manage F&B team to ensure mentoring meets Miccosukee Service Expectations
- Oversees the day to day activities of all beverage services.
- Responsible for planning and scheduling employees in accordance with F&B departmental needs.
- Supervises F&B employees in accordance with facility policy and procedures
- Trains and coaches’ F&B employees
- Responsible for shift scheduling including: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee breaks to ensure there is coverage based on forecasts.
- Makes adjustments as necessary during shift to assure completion of work assignments.
- Operates within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Computes reports on operations.
- Organizes and supervises maintenance tasks related to all events scheduled during the year ensuring the completion of the work in time.
- Monitors purchases and transfers of alcoholic beverages.
- Assists in preparing and monitoring the beverage budget and reviewing monthly variance report and expenditures; implements programs and processes to increase revenue and optimize profits.
- Maintains liquor controls and policies and procedures regarding alcohol sales and service levels.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in outlets, the particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list, designated glassware and garnishes for drinks, all bar menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.
- Must possess the ability to develop, present, and promote seasonal spirits/beer/wine offerings, venue specific beverage menu offerings – while being up-to-date with all industry trends and mixology.
- Coordinates and ensures accurate monthly inventory, transfers, monitor/minimize waste, proficient beverage pars and weekly beverage orders.
- Ensures proper sanitation, preventative maintenance, and vendor support of all alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverage equipment, floor stations, bars, keg coolers and/or storage areas.
- Manages all activities of the beverage function for the organization.
- Adhere to the Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team compliance
- Monitor compliance with all aspects of Miccosukee Casino & Resort internal controls
- Train, coach, counsel, evaluate and administer discipline to F&B team
- Make recommendations for the termination of any subordinate team member who, after coaching and discipline, performs at levels below Miccosukee Service Expectations
- Interview prospective team members and measure against Miccosukee Service Expectations
- Make recommendations for the employment of candidates who will perform at or above Miccosukee Service Expectations
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and procedures
- Evaluate operating procedures, recommend changes, and implement approved changes
- Maintain confidentiality of pertinent casino data
- Maintain clear and open communication with guests, managers and team members
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
- Performs other related duties as assigned

The Casino & Resort will function seven days a week, 24 hours a day. We may find it necessary to re-schedule shifts according to our business volume. You must be willing and available to fulfill these demands
While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use balance. Additionally, the team member will frequently be asked to use hands and arms carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member may experience temperature fluctuations and moderate to high levels of noise. This is a smoking environment.
