What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Quality Manager position at Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida?
The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is looking to hire a full-time Air Quality Manager to join our team in the Water Resources Department. The Air Quality Manager is responsible for establishing and managing the Tribe’s Air Quality Monitoring Program, participating in agency collaborative meetings, installing and maintaining monitoring equipment, and writing air quality grants.
Knowledge of ambient air quality, pollutants, the EPA Clean Air Act, and the Everglades ecosystem is preferable. Experience with GPS & GIS is a plus. Candidates should have good computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and have a MS degree in chemistry, toxicology, or related science field. A valid FL Driver's license is required.
Great benefits package offered. Salary is negotiable depending on experience, ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 annually.
