What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Handler/Alligator Wrestler position at Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida?
The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is currently looking to hire a full-time Animal Handler/Alligator Wrestler to work at the Miccosukee Indian Village. The Alligator Wrestler will conduct alligator wrestling shows while interacting with Village patrons by offering a brief history about the alligators, the Miccosukee Tribe, and the Florida Everglades. Animal Handler/Alligator Wrestler will be responsible for routine Village Maintenance when alligator shows are not scheduled and for cleaning the alligator pits and feeding the alligators. Other duties as assigned. Must have experience and knowledge with handling alligators and the skills and safety procedures of alligator wrestling. Must have excellent English communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and Holidays.
Salary: $17.00 per hour/$25.00 per Alligator Wrestling Show

Job Site: Miccosukee Indian Village located in the Florida Everglades on the Miccosukee Indian Reservation; 19 Miles West of Krome Avenue on SW 8th Street
