Job Title: DevOps Technical Release Manager (Proficient - Advanced)
Location: San Ramon CA
Duration: 1 year
Max Pay: $45/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee deployments for high-traffic websites, ensuring smooth operations for routine updates and major launch events.
- Manage release schedules, monitor progress, and drive automation initiatives for efficiency.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely and successful releases.
- Create documentation, identify risks, and seek continuous process improvements.
- Perform high-level administration tasks, such as user management and provisioning development environments.
- Support global teams with flexible hours.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in Release Management and Management.
- 2-5 years of experience in Serverless Architecture, Web Services, Amazon Web Services (AWS), AEM, and Content Management Systems.
- 5-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, CI/CD, DevOps/SRE, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Groovy scripting.
- Strong background in release management for web systems, including CMS, apps, and services.
- Experience with SCM tools like SVN/Git, front-end and back-end technologies, and web server configurations (Apache/NGINX).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with both creative and technical teams.
