Our Client is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Engineering Operations & Parts Management for an extendable, W2 only, 10-month contract position in Fremont, CA. This position is hybrid (3 days per week onsite) This position pays $60-80 / hr. W2.Responsibilities : Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) new features development, testing & deployment including mobile accessComputer Aided Design (CAD) Automation ProjectsEngineering Database consolidation & integrationEngineering Spreadsheet utility toolsParts Management : Preferred Parts, Obsolescence, Part Classification, Alternate Parts, Supply Chain Coordination, Inventory Duplicate PartsAutomated Design Review TemplatesCAD Vault-PLM Bill Of Material (BOM) Management for Model Based Design (MBD)Automated CAD Configuration Management for MBDCreate and maintain program schedule & budgetEscalate significant issues impacting program deliverablesWork closely with the program’s technical experts, as well as subsystem program managers, on a daily basisHold progress reviews for business process and enterprise system solutionsProvide technical planning input for sub-projects in large enterprise solutions (like PLM, Manufacturing Execution Systems or MES, Enterprise Resource Planning / Materials Requirements Planning or ERP / MRP, etc.), mechanical and electrical engineering CAD models & prototype partsTrack supplier invoices against budget with finance expertsAnalyze & monitor program Return on Investment (ROI) versus plan by using savings estimates obtained from technical experts and budget from financial ownersRequired Skills : Bachelor's degree in engineering with 12 years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8 years’ experience; or equivalent experience.Very Strong understanding of engineering process, CAD and PLM application.Experience should include managing large cross-functional software enterprise or product development programs spanning Engineering and Information Technology. Experience in implementation of one or more large enterprise solutions (like PLM, MES, ERP, etc.)Expert knowledge of Program Management methods. Experience leading cross-functional teams and demonstrating excellent leadership and influence to deliver results. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the company. Ability to influence, drive alignment among stakeholdersPreferred Skills : Experience in the Semiconductor industry.Expert knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.Relevant project management certifications such as PMP.Expertise with project management software and tools, including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent. Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
