Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Personal lines insurance accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze client needs, and the capability to negotiate effectively on behalf of our clients.
If the candidate has Small Commercial lines account lines experience that would be a plus.
Duties
- Manage a diverse portfolio of Personal lines insurance accounts, providing personalized service and support.
- Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products to meet their requirements.
- Negotiate policy terms and conditions with underwriters to secure the best coverage options for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding policy updates, claims processes, and coverage options.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for growth.
- Conduct telemarketing efforts to reach potential clients and promote our services.
- Assist in benefits administration for clients as needed, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and renewal dates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in insurance sales or account management, preferably in Personal Lines.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to analyze complex information and present it clearly to clients.
- Experience in outside sales is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with benefits administration is an advantage.
- Proficiency in telemarketing techniques to engage potential clients effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
