About the Position
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Michael Aaron Staffing, LLC. As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our physical plant by installing, repairing and maintaining electrically powered systems and equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment, including distribution systems.
- Examining and testing electrical systems to locate faults and ensure proper functionality.
- Reporting defects, deterioration and wear and tear on facilities to ensure proactive issue resolution.
- Communicating with tradespeople and custodians to ensure quality of work.
- Inspecting campus facilities on a routine basis and correcting deficiencies found.
- Repairing, maintaining, altering or erecting wiring apparatus, running electrical conduit and installing transformers.
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance and repairs on electric equipment and circuits.
- Estimating materials needed and recording time and materials expended on each work order.
- Assisting with special event setup.
- Performing all duties safely and in accordance with established department guidelines, policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Five (5) or more years experience in the electrical trade.
