What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Vice President of Operations position at Michael Aaron Staffing, LLC?
Regional VP of Operations paying up to $185K for a national corporation in the Dallas/Richardson area. The Regional VP of Operations will be responsible for the overall strategy, leadership and tactical execution including overall full budget and P&L responsibility for the South Region. The South Region is a $200M business unit that spans across 11 states and has over 1,800 employees.
Ideal candidate MUST be able to travel 70 % of the time within Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama & Florida
This is a DIRECT HIRE position and is available IMMEDIATELY!
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Manage regional support staff including sales, HR, finance, process improvement, safety, administration, and recruiting
- Client interaction to ensure premier customer service and quality partner relations are being met
- Fleet management including DOT
- Full P&L management of the region
- Employee development and performance
- Strategic planning and implement processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Position requires individual to have a minimum of 9 years in the transportation &/or logistics industry with 5 years in a senior management role managing multi-sites consisting of over 1,000 employees
- Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
- Must be able to travel approximately 70% of the time within the South region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama & Florida)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required
- Individual must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
- Must be multi-tasked oriented, organized and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Salary : $175,000 - $185,000
