What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Senior Manager position at Michael Coleman Creative Services?
We're a creative agency with a roster of clients from across the luxury hospitality industry. Our social media team gives voice to iconic hotels across the country and work with our design and digital teams to bring it all to life. We're looking for a Social Media Senior Manager who can help grow our social media team with the schedules, standards, and processes of a well oiled machine.
Working alongside our cross-functional leadership team and reporting directly to the founder of MCCS, the Social Media Senior Manager will be responsible for acting as a trusted advisor for clients, leading social strategy, managing content and channels, providing mentorship to direct reports, and measuring client results.
FUNCTIONS:
- Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive social strategies for each client, focusing on storytelling and aligning with overarching brand goals.
- Content & Channel Management: Create engaging and original content according to brand standards including captions and creative direction. Review and manage posts within Sprout Social.
- Community Management: Interact with relevant posts, and reply to comments and messages in accordance with each brand’s response matrix. Determine when to escalate issues to clients.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with our photographer/videographer, copywriter, and graphic designers to ensure alignment between voice and visuals. Partner with clients and MCCS leadership.
- Reporting: Present insightful performance summaries to clients on a monthly basis. Identify and communicate opportunities to improve engagement, following, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
- Ad hoc:
- Lead daily team check-ins
- Vet incoming influencers, coordinate and schedule visits
- Travel to photoshoots with our in-house photographer and provide creative direction for shoots
- Log time on a daily basis
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 6 years managing multiple social media clients simultaneously
- 2 years managing a social media team in an agency setting
- Confidence in presenting to clients and partnering with leadership
- Expert user of social media management tools and platforms
- Analytical skillset to articulate data-driven results
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced or start-up environments

SALARY / BENEFITS:
- $65,000 - $75,000 salary
