Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Attorney At Law. The attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of legal cases, providing legal advice, conducting thorough legal research, and negotiating on behalf of clients. Specific duties will include:

• Handling Evictions and other Small Claims Cases
• Handling Quiet Title Actions and other Real Estate Cases involving disputed title
• Prepare Real Estate deeds and other conveyance instruments
• Prepare Purchase Agreements
• Provide legal advice regarding real estate transactions

The role is on-site, located in Crown Point, IN. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in court and during negotiations.

Qualifications

• 3 years prior experience in real estate and title law required
• Strong understanding of legal procedures, documents and regulations related to real estate transactions
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle complex legal matters and provide clear, concise advice to clients
• Strong Research skills for accurate and thorough legal arguments
• Ability to work on-site in Crown Point, IN
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and license to practice law in Indiana
