Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and creative social media and DTC Coordinator to manage and enhance our online presence across various platforms. This role will focus on executing a comprehensive social media strategy, overseeing email marketing campaigns, supporting brand development efforts, managing our web and e-commerce activities, and ensuring exceptional customer engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and customer engagement while aligning with our brand identity and marketing objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and manage a social media calendar, ensuring content aligns with brand identity and marketing strategy.
  • Create and publish engaging, brand-relevant content across multiple platforms.
  • Manage and respond to online messaging and comments across all social media channels.
  • Analyze monthly social media analytics and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Email Marketing & Strategy:

  • Write and design email marketing campaigns based on the DTC marketing calendar.
  • Lead email acquisition efforts and track performance to grow the customer database.
  • Develop compelling campaigns to promote Wine Club acquisition and retention.


Brand Development & Print Materials:

  • Contribute to the creation of customer-facing materials, including Wine Club brochures, tasting room menus, winery signage, and event signage.

Web & E-Commerce Management:

  • Oversee website updates, SKU setup, and regular maintenance to ensure optimal online store performance and merchandising.
  • Provide digital support for DTC and event-related media and design.

Review & Reputation Management:

  • Oversee and respond to customer reviews on Google, TripAdvisor, and Yelp.

Content & Channel Growth:

  • Manage the company’s LinkedIn page (MDW), exploring opportunities for growth and engagement.
  • Oversee the YouTube channel, exploring new opportunities for content creation and channel growth.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business Administration, or relevant experience in similar role
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years Social Media and or wine marketing experience.
  • Strong analytical and inter-personal skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Tik Tok.
  • Proficiency in design and creative within Adobe suite.
  • Prior Wine Direct POS system use and knowledge are beneficial.
  • Understanding of Wordpress and website maintenance and updates
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak persuasively before groups, customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Apply percentage discounts.


Reasoning Ability: A
bility to solve practical problems, deals with a variety of variables, and manages situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills and Software:
Outlook:. Search emails. Create folders, share with others. Create appointments.
Excel: Create worksheets/workbooks and templates.
Manipulate date, sort and filter. Thoroughly understand functions
Format and create charts, tables and graphs.
Power Point: Create and develop presentations
Import data and pictures
Use of special effects to enhance presentations
Word: Create, edit, save, and track changes.
Add Tables

Adobe Suite: Proficient in design and editing digital materials
