What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Michael Development?
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Maintenance Technician will split time between Granite Works Apartments, in Delano, MN and Village Place Apartments in Buffalo, MN. This part-time position is Monday – Friday, approximately 15 hours per week or more as needed, plus rotating on-call emergency maintenance.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities/but not limited to:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Plumbing
- Appliances
- Heating and A/C repairs
- Turnaround maintenance
- Preventative maintenance
- Lock changes
- Minor electrical repairs
- Additional responsibilities as directed
- Shoveling/Salting in winter as needed
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of previous maintenance experience required
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well as a team
- Must pass background check
- Must have the necessary tools for apartment maintenance.
