Michael Graves is looking for a creative, design-oriented Senior Architect to join our dynamic internationally acclaimed team, with an immediate need to assist in several nationally growing market sectors. Ideal candidates should be passionate about design, work well in a collaborative team environment, and effectively communicate ideas and approach in a clear and thoughtful manner. We are looking to fill immediate position(s) in our Charlotte, NC location.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Professional degree(s) in Architecture (Bachelor or Master’s in Architecture)
- 10 years of professional experience
- Architectural registration required
- Current experience in Adult / Senior Living, Multi-Family, and Master Planning desirable
- Strong leadership, design and technical skills
- Effective communicator and presenter with clients, consultants, and internal team
- Ability to manage project teams, project budget, develop and implement project workplan
- Lead technical aspects of design and construction projects through all phases including construction administration
- Proficiency in all design phases (SD, DD, CD) and design and construction document coordination
- Thorough knowledge of AIA contracts, materials and product research, code and zoning analysis, and preparation of architectural proposals
- Skilled management of internal design team staff and project consultants
- Fluency in REVIT required
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Project a plus
- Salary is commensurate with experience
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA with no further sponsorship required
- No Remote work at this time
