Job Requirements

Minimum of five years of experience in management / scheduling experience of 20 employees.
Minimum of five years in horticulture. Degree a plus, but not required.
Category 24 pesticide certification is required along with proper knowledge of treatment, material applications, and management / schedule of Spray Tech. Any other green industry certifications are a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
Excellent written and oral communication, time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Not Required but is a plus : Bilingual (Spanish).

Job description :

Meet with and draft maintenance proposals for potential new clients and enhancement proposals for existing customers.

Demonstrate skill and ability in the area of sales and customer service.

Working knowledge of all associated machinery and trucks involved in landscape maintenance.

Oversee and coordinate 6-8 maintenance crews, fleet maintenance, equipment, etc. to ensure jobs and crews meet the quality standards of Michael Jackson Landscape Company.

Oversee crew scheduling and training to ensure proper equipment operation, landscape techniques, safety, and quality standards.

Routinely inspect properties and proactively troubleshoot potential problem areas : such as plant health, landscape enhancements, etc.

Address client / partner questions, comments, or concerns.

Responsible for communication with the Vice President and Install Manager.
