Job Description:
This Maintenance Mechanic role is responsible for performing facility and conveyor system maintenance in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, as well as experience working with conveyor systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on tool, test equipment, etc.
- Capable of completing required service paperwork
- Identify problems as they occur and suggest appropriate steps to solve them
- Track belts, replace motors, reducers, and conveyor parts
- Conduct daily system walks and identify potential issues
- Follows all maintenance safety programs
- Monitor Sorter to ensure processes are running and the system is operating normally
- Performs general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, painting, and mechanical
Requirements:
- Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge
- BASIC troubleshooting Skills
- Vocational training or 1-2 years' experience working in an industrial environment
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work varied schedules and weekends, as needed
