What are the responsibilities and job description for the IP/Government Contracts/Patent Attorney position at Michael Martensen P.C.?
Martensen IP is seeking an Intellectual Property attorney with experience in Government Contracts, or a Government Contracts Attorney with experience in Intellectual Property to join its firm. Big firm or Government experience is a plus. Martensen IP offers full docketing and paralegal support and a respite from big firm stress in exchange for your commitment to develop your own fulfilling practice. Martensen IP does not use the traditional minimum billable hour requirement, instead we use a pay-for-service model. Your compensation is based solely on collections tied to work performed. The position takes commitment to grow your own practice but Martensen IP has marketing and networking tools in place to help grow your book of business. You design a practice that can be flexible to your life, instead of your life having to be flexible to the firm. To be considered you must have at least a 100K portable book of business. The firm’s home office is in Colorado Springs, which offers 300 days of sunshine, outstanding natural beauty, great public schools, and mostly reasonable traffic. But working remote is certainly an option. We are looking to expand our team
