Description
This role will report directly into the Production Manager and be responsible for
- Supervising and coordinating hourly and salaried employees.
- Driving performance in labor efficiency, quality, cost control, and workplace organization.
- Enforcing safety protocols, including MSDS, Lockout/Tagout, and Safety Committee procedures.
- Hiring, training, and disciplining employees while ensuring proper development.
- Conducting performance reviews and recommending disciplinary actions as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining accurate labor, scrap, and process reports.
- Overseeing facility and equipment maintenance, including preventive programs.
- Ensuring proper handling and compliance of hazardous materials with required training.
Profile
The successful candidate will have
- 2-4 years of supervising experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- LOTO and scheduling familiarity
- Metals experience a plus
