As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients while acquiring new business opportunities in the metal manufacturing industry. This is a dynamic, client-facing role requiring excellent communication, organizational skills, and a passion for providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Description
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients and expanding the company's presence within the metal manufacturing sector.
- Sales & Negotiation: Drive sales growth by presenting product offerings, negotiating pricing, and closing deals in alignment with company goals.
- Project Management: Oversee client projects from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality fulfillment of client orders.
- Product Expertise: Become a subject matter expert in our products and services, advising clients on the best solutions for their unique needs.
- Travel & Client Visits: Travel up to 30% of the time to visit clients, attend trade shows, and manage on-site meetings to ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market trends. Provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to ensure the successful delivery of products and services to clients.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of metal manufacturing processes, products, and the supply chain is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
