">The Job Responsibilities
">- To process daily cash receipts from various sources.
- To reconcile payments with invoices to ensure proper allocation of funds.
- To research and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments, short payments, and deductions.
- To communicate with customers, internal departments, and banks regarding payment discrepancies.
- To process chargebacks, deductions, and adjustments in compliance with company policies.
- To maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring proper documentation of payment transactions.
- To support month-end close by reconciling AR and cash application transactions.
- To assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- To utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and customer portals to process transactions.
Requirements for Success
">- 2 years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or a related finance role, preferably in a CPG, retail, or distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, chargebacks, and deductions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, etc.) and customer portals (Retailer-specific portals, Ariba, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
