Description
- Manage and oversee properties, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Establish rental rates and negotiate leases
- Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals, and showing units
- Investigate and resolve tenant complaints in a timely manner
- Coordinate and manage property maintenance projects
- Ensure all properties comply with local and state property requirements
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition
- Maintain property records and prepare reports

Profile
A successful Property Manager should have:
- Managed affordable housing developments previously
- Proven experience in property management or relevant position
- Strong understanding of property management and its financial aspects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of property laws and regulations
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Will have worked for a non-profit or affordable housing developer
- An understanding of Low Income Tax Credits/LIHTC
- Section 8 experience is desired.
