Description
The APM/Jr. PM - Federal Projects in DC Metro - TS Clearance Needed will be responsible for:
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical work, ensuring adherence to timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
- Managing electrical contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
- Tracking electrical costs, assisting in budget management, and preparing cost estimates to maintain budget integrity.
- Helping develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of electrical tasks.
- Ensuring all electrical work meets codes, standards, and project specifications, performing quality checks as needed.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, resolving issues, and ensuring resource availability.
- Maintaining records of RFIs, change orders, submittals, and daily reports for the electrical scope.
- Visiting sites to monitor electrical work, troubleshooting issues, and supporting on-site teams.
- Identifying and resolving electrical-related challenges, providing proactive solutions.
- Updating clients and stakeholders on electrical progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
Profile
The APM/Jr. PM - Federal Projects in DC Metro - TS Clearance Needed will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in federal government construction projects, including renovations and new builds.
- Active TS Clearance is required.
- Familiarity with federal project standards, regulations, and safety codes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and manage subcontractors and vendors.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
