They are actively seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Project Manager to join their expanding team and grow alongside the business.



Description

  • Support the Project Manager in completing projects on time and within budget.
  • Participate in interviews and the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for new opportunities.
  • Assist the estimating team with bids for future projects.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project details.
  • Reach out to subcontractors to gauge their interest in projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Estimators to review final plans and estimates before submission.
  • Ensure all monthly Project Manager review reports are completed accurately and on time, contributing to the profitable and timely completion of projects.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of meeting minutes, Owner Change Orders, and Requests for Information with the project team.
  • Conduct project closeout walkthroughs with Owners and Architects, gather all required closeout documents, and ensure punch list items are completed.
  • Handle customer relations by conducting a 6-month project review with the Owner and an 11-month warranty walkthrough to address any outstanding concerns.
  • Maintain open and consistent communication with clients, providing proactive updates on project progress and budget matters.

Profile

  • 2-5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, with commercial construction experience being a plus.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A collaborative team player with a motivated and positive attitude.
  • Interest in tasks such as estimating change orders and processing pay applications, though bidding projects from scratch is not required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • A strong desire to advance your career as a Project Manager.
  • OSHA certification is required.

Job Offer

  • Base salary of $80,000-$100,000 depending on the level of experience
