My client is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join their team based out of Leesburg, VA. Specializing in design-build, new construction, and interior renovations, my client serves diverse sectors, including commercial, retail, hospitality, restaurants, multifamily, and medical.

Description

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations and ensure the successful execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with a keen eye for detail and a desire to grow within a company that values teamwork, integrity, and quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily on-site construction activities.
  • Ensure all work is completed on schedule and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, job site safety, and quality control.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and job site logistics.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Help maintain project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and progress updates.
  • Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve challenges.

Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience in construction field operations or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
