Description
The assistant superintendent will be responsible for:
- assist all aspects of construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to maintain efficient workflows and project progress.
- Monitor project plans, specifications, and timelines, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, quality standards, and local building codes.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to align on expectations and resolve any challenges.
- Prepare daily reports and updates to track progress and maintain accurate project documentation.
Profile
- 4-10 yrs of experience (ideally)
- Someone who is around 1 project away from a Superintendent position
- Multifamily Experience
- Well-tenured
- Commercial Construction Superintendent experience with a GC or Developer
- Experience building ground-up/renovation multifamily projects valued at $10M
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Good written and communication skills
- Familiarity with construction/project management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
