- Maintain in-depth knowledge of market conditions, key customers, and competitive landscape to drive sales success.
- Recommend pricing and sales strategies tailored to the local market, while fostering customer relationships to enhance service offerings.
- Oversee facility operations, ensuring plant and equipment meet or exceed competitor capabilities.
- Coordinate sales and operational activities in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Monitor production costs and product quality, adjusting inventory and production control programs for profitability.
- Lead and mentor employees, driving a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage employees and sales programs, ensuring alignment with operational and distribution goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a productive and ethical work environment.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, but if you have at least five years of sales experience in the metals industry, we want to hear from you.
- Strong sales instincts with the ability to connect with employees, management, and customers effectively.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and open to learning industry-specific software like Metalware.
- Strong analytical skills-able to gather data, assess problems, and make smart decisions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage both big-picture strategy and detailed tasks.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
