Description
Manage day-to-day field operations and site activities for heavy civil construction projects (e.g., utilities, roadwork, bridges, sitework).
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and labor crews.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality control standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams.
Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and site logistics plans.
Troubleshoot field issues and implement practical solutions in real time.
Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and performance.
Profile
5 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role.
Proven track record overseeing large-scale sitework, utility, or roadway projects.
In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and best practices.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents.
Proficient in field management software, scheduling tools, and reporting systems.
OSHA 30 certification required; other relevant safety credentials preferred.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
