Description
The responsibilities of the Construction Estimator - Multifamily and Commercial Construction
- Reporting to the Chief Estimator
- Analyzing project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates
- Collaborating with various parties (architects, subs, etc.) to gather necessary information
- Preparing and submitting comprehensive, competitive bids and proposals
- Evaluating and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Conducting value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and cost factors
Profile
The successful Construction Estimator - Multifamily and Commercial Construction
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of commercial estimating experience
- Ideally multifamily projects, but open to different backgrounds
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
Job Offer

- Base salary up to $130K for Mid-level (5-10 years)
- Base salary up to $90K for Assistant-level (2-4 years)
