Description
- Responsible for the overall leadership of daily on-site activities for a variety of health care and commercial construction projects. Project values will range from $1M - $25M
- Establish project schedules
- Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and complete weekly safety audits and inspections of the site
- Review daily reports of work done and complete a detailed project daily report
- Maintain a safe work site
- Ensure quality work from subcontractors
- Identify any safety and construction issues, schedule problems and punch-list items
- Work in collaboration with subcontractors and coordinate their schedules and the manpower needed to complete the jobs on time and on budget
- Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors and answer any questions
- Finalize RFIs, Submittals, writes and reviews reports, and other exchanges to maintain communication with external and internal team members, subcontractors, and clients
- Manage the closeout process with formulating and completing the job close out check lists, punch list process, gathering and issuing project close out documentation
Profile
- /- 5-10 years of experience within commercial construction
- General contracting background
- Demonstrated history of overseeing health care and/or commercial construction projects ranging from $1M - $25M
- Demonstrated skills in: managing site activity, labor relations, anticipating and resolving project issues, establishing and enforcing site schedule requirements, managing site safety and insurance risks, and subcontractor management
- Strong tenure at current and previous employers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
