Description
- The Construction Construction Superintendent - Healthcare - Meriden, CT will manage the day-to-day operations of healthcare construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain project efficiency.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare-specific codes and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns.
- Identify potential issues and implement solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
Profile
- 5 years of experience working in a Building and Construction Superintendent role for a General Contractor (GC).
- Proven expertise in healthcare projects.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
- Preference for candidates with experience at firms handling similar scopes of work.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).

- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (mandatory).
