Our client is one of the most established General Contractors in the state. Having maintained a reputable name for years, they have a main focus on excellent company culture. They are looking to grow their construction team due to a rapidly growing pipeline and are looking for a experienced Construction Superintendent to join the team and hit the ground running.
Description
- Supervise and evaluate all assigned personnel.
- Lead the site team throughout the entire project cycle.
- Ensure contract scope is understood by the entire site management team.
- Create and maintain a positive and safe work environment.
- Review and approve both invoices and requisitions to ensure all payments are correct to vendor.
- Administer a Quality Control Plan on site.
- Review and assist in creating scopes of work for each subcontractor.
- Create a baseline production schedule for the project.
- Hold preconstruction meetings with the subcontractors prior to each phase of the project.
Profile
- 8 years as a construction superintendent in commercial, industrial, or multi-family projects.
- Ability to lead project and manage teams of all sizes.
- Experience running projects from start to finish.
- Proficient with construction software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- OSHA certification preferred.
