Description
- The Construction Superintendent will manage day-to-day site operations for healthcare and commercial interior projects.
- Ensure projects, valued at $10M , are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain seamless project execution.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all site activities comply with industry and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site meetings to track progress and address any issues proactively.
- Provide hands-on oversight during all phases of construction in NYC and local to Garden City, NY.
Profile
- 5 years of experience working in a Construction Superintendent role for a General Contractor (GC).
- Proven expertise in healthcare and commercial interior projects.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
- Preference for candidates with experience at firms handling similar scopes of work.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (mandatory).
