Job Summary:

The VP/Director Project Finance Credit Risk Officer will focus on analyzing and evaluating credit risk for project finance transactions across multiple sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate finance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The position will cover project finance, infrastructure finance, renewables, oil/gas, and related sectors.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and analysis of project finance transactions, including financial statement analysis, industry trends, and competitive positioning.

  • Transaction Execution: Evaluate and execute potential project finance opportunities by analyzing financials, business models, and market conditions to provide recommendations to senior management.

  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage the credit risk of existing project finance portfolios, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support credit analysis and transaction execution processes.

  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored credit solutions.

  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting project finance and related sectors.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports, risk assessments, and presentations to senior management and risk committees.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including investment bankers, portfolio managers, and legal advisors, to support the execution of project finance transactions.

Profile



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation preferred.

  • 7 years of experience in credit analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a focus on project finance and related sectors.

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software.

  • Excellent understanding of corporate credit risk and credit risk management methodologies.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.

Job Offer

The base pay range for this role typically falls between $175,000 - $215,000.

Salary : $145,000 - $190,000
