They specialize in the Commercial space and are in need of an experienced Commercial Estimator to join their growing team.
Job Description
Duties will include, but are not limited to :
- Explore specification / drawing documentation in order to gain a understanding of the project requirements
- Develop estimates and bids for construction projects
- Visit sites necessary to do the estimate
- Perform complex analysis of collected data to provide customer's solutions
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key clientele and / or general contractor
- Work with the sales team to prepare proposals
- Assist in competitively procuring material; perform a detailed review of the bids received to enable the buyout of the project at or below the amount(s) in the original estimate
- Attend all required company meetings
- Represent the company in a professional manner
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Support the company's safety policy
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client information
- Five years of applicable construction experience
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field from an accredited institution of higher learning is preferred, although not required
- Possess an OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
- Complete successful drug, MVR, and background screenings
- Willing to accept responsibility to acquire specialized training and continued education
- Strong knowledge of roof assemblies, application and design preferred
- Able to read, understand, and navigate through blueprints
