Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interior projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine accurate cost projections.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure accurate scope definition and cost control.
- Monitor project budgets and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and vendors throughout the estimation process.
- Ensure estimates align with project goals, timelines, and profitability targets.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience estimating commercial interior projects, with a solid understanding of construction costs and methods. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in Manhattan's commercial interior sector is a plus.
