Our client is a prominent player in the Business Services industry. As a large organization headquartered in New York, they have a significant presence across the nation, providing an array of services within the Technology department.
Description
- Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems.
- Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats.
- Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements.
- Train users in implementation or conversion of systems.
- Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy.
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
- Prepare cost estimates by studying home improvements, plans, and related customer documents.
- Liaise with vendors to select the appropriate products.

Profile
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Recent experience (last ~3 years) working as a Security Architect in a hands-on technical capacity.
- Note: Candidates whose Security Architect experience is only in previous roles (not current/most recent) will not be considered.
- Financial Services industry experience is required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or other security-focused credentials) are highly preferred.
Not a Fit:
- Candidates with titles or roles such as AVP, CISO, Manager, Strategist, or Solutions Architect - this is not a leadership or high-level strategy role.
- Candidates who are not actively working in a hands-on Security Architect position.

Job Offer
This is a long-term contract opportunity with a hybrid work arrangement based in Iselin, NJ.
