Client Details
We are looking for a Sales Representative to build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, developers, and general contractors in the Rochester area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the construction or Residential sector, with a particular focus on exterior projects like roofing, siding, windows, and more. You will be responsible for generating leads, managing sales pipelines, and ultimately helping us win new projects that contribute to the company's growth. Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target new business opportunities in the multifamily sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including property managers, developers, and architects.
- Conduct site visits and project assessments to provide accurate estimates and recommendations for exterior construction projects.
- Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value of our services.
- Follow up with prospects and close sales to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Collaborate with project managers and estimating teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth handoffs once contracts are secured.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales and post-sale process.
Profile
Qualifications:
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction, general contracting, or multifamily industry.
- Strong knowledge of exterior construction projects (roofing, siding, windows, etc.).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and a results-driven attitude.
- Strong understanding of the Indianapolis market and local multifamily development trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
