As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team and lead the logistical operations for our expanding product portfolio. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics, supply chain management, and distribution for our medical device products. This includes managing the flow of materials, finished products, and supplies in a highly regulated environment. The Logistics Manager will collaborate closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery while meeting industry standards and compliance requirements.
Job Description
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the timely and efficient distribution of products.
- Manage and optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory management processes.
- Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance, identify potential improvements, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all medical devices are stored and shipped in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead and manage relationships with external logistics providers, freight carriers, and third-party warehouses.
- Prepare and manage logistics budgets, track cost efficiency, and manage logistics costs within the company's financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and quality assurance, to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation for shipments and compliance with FDA and ISO standards for medical devices.
- Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or distribution, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and medical device compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts with logistics partners.
