Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership : Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of production staff to meet daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing goals.
- Production Management : Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are met.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure adherence to all quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements specific to the aerospace industry.
- Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
- Safety Compliance : Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular training and audits to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communication : Act as the primary liaison between production teams, engineering, quality assurance, and management, providing clear and timely updates.
- Performance Monitoring : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to analyze productivity and identify improvement opportunities.
- Problem Solving : Address and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions, supply chain disruptions, and workforce challenges.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience :
- Proven expertise in managing production teams and meeting operational goals.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.
- Soft Skills :
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Other Requirements : Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a background check.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications :
3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
