Oversee daily chemical handling and packaging operations, ensuring safety and compliance.
Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Optimize production schedules, inventory management, and workflow efficiency.
Implement best practices in safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA).
Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive CAPEX projects.
Identify and address bottlenecks and process inefficiencies to improve throughput.
Conduct safety audits and training programs to maintain a compliant work environment.
Profile
5 years in operations management within chemical, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
Strong background in chemical handling, hazardous material management, and packaging processes.
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process optimization methodologies.
Proven ability to lead teams of 30-40 employees, driving performance and engagement.
Familiarity with inventory management, ERP systems (e.g., D365), and production planning.
Analytical mindset - ability to assess operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions.
Excellent leadership & communication skills - ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.
