Job Description
As an Operations Manager / Director of Construction, you will be responsible for the following :
- Oversee all construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and mentor project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency and workflow across multiple projects.
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for HNWI clients, architects, and designers.
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, DOB regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor project financials, including budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiations.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure seamless project execution.
- Work closely with procurement teams to source high-end materials and finishes.
- 10 years of experience in high-end residential construction, with a focus on gut renovations in the 5 boroughs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of NYC construction regulations, DOB codes, and permitting processes.
- Proven track record of delivering luxury projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional client-facing skills with experience working with HNWIs, architects, and designers.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) is a plus.
