Description
In this role you will report directly into the VP of Operations and be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient production, aligning with company goals and KPIs.
- Developing and implementing strategies to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Monitoring performance metrics and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.
- Driving safety programs to maintain high safety awareness and practices across the site.
- Identifying areas for improvement and leading initiatives to streamline operations and reduce scrap.
- Creating training programs to maintain operational excellence and company standards.
- Evaluating staffing and schedules to optimize resource utilization.
- Providing leadership and mentorship to build a motivated and effective team.
- Resolving operational issues quickly to ensure smooth business operations and on-time deliveries.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 4-6 years of operations management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Rubber or similar material experience preferred
- Experience with 4-5 direct reports, and 25 indirect
- Lean or Six Sigma knowledge
- Data analysis and Kaizen familiarity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Budget management skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
