- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor bids, to support budgeting and bidding processes.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop preliminary schedules, logistics plans, and phasing strategies to ensure efficient project execution.
- Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and plans to identify potential issues, conflicts, or value engineering opportunities before construction begins.
- Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing and alignment with project requirements.
- Identify potential risks (e.g., site conditions, permitting delays) and propose mitigation strategies during the preconstruction phase.
- Facilitate communication between architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors to resolve design or scope questions early.
- Assess plans for practicality and efficiency, suggesting adjustments to improve construction methods or reduce costs.
- Assist in preparing documentation and coordinating with local authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Propose cost-saving alternatives or material substitutions that maintain quality and meet project goals.

- Demonstrates a strong background in cost estimation, design analysis, and project planning, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
- Brings specialized knowledge, ideally in MEP systems or data center construction, to tackle complex, mission-critical projects.
- Excels at identifying risks and delivering value-engineering solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
