Client Details
My client is a close-knit construction team with 38 years of experience in the retail space. This midsized GC, consisting of around 25 employees divided among PMs, Supers, and Office/Support staff, focuses on small to midsized commercial projects. These projects include office, healthcare, light industrial, TI, and restaurant construction, all within the Indianapolis market. The client fosters a highly collaborative environment that encourages learning and leadership from all employees. They are seeking someone with a construction background who is eager to support the project teams.
Description
- Support the project management team.
- Manage project files.
- Draft and finalize client agreements.
- Collect lien waivers.
- Handle all documentation tasks.
- Request necessary insurance certificates.
- Provide support throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate cost code usage.
- Assist with organizing weekly project reports.
- Maintain subcontractor insurance.
- Issue subcontractor contracts as directed by the Project Manager.
- Prepare and submit permits and municipal submittals.
- Report directly to the CFO.
Profile
- 2 years of construction experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree prefered
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
- Experience with construction related software preferred but not necessary
- Ability to work with subcontractors and vendors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
