Description
- Assist in the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets, working closely with the project management team.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure smooth communication between the project team and all stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with design specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
- Track and report project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that could impact the project timeline or budget.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including meeting minutes, schedules, permits, contracts, and progress reports.
- Work closely with the site superintendent to ensure smooth field operations and to address any challenges that arise during construction.
- Assist in conducting inspections and ensuring that all punch list items are completed to the highest standards before project closeout.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Alternatively, relevant industry experience.
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Project Engineer within construction. Experience in luxury custom homes preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Offer
