Description
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate and manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and updates.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and permits.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays or budget overruns.
- Resource Management: Allocate materials, equipment, and labor efficiently.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, address issues, and adjust plans as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed project records, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
Profile
- 5 years of experience working for a General Contractor
- Commercial project experience a must
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate construction teams
- Excellent communication skills to convey project expectations, updates, and changes to appropriate parties
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques, local building codes and regulations.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Proficient in creating and managing construction schedules and ensuring that timelines are met.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, including the ability to interpret contract documents, negotiate terms, and enforce contract requirements.
- Capability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams
